I have spent 27 years building and securing enterprise networks. I got my start in the late 90s during the dot-com era and learned the craft from the ground up — configuring routers, pulling cable, taking the 2 AM calls. I spent nearly a decade engineering carrier-grade networks under SLA penalties that would bankrupt most companies. That is where real discipline gets built.

From there I went on to build and standardize data center infrastructure for one of the nation's largest healthcare organizations, designed software-defined network fabrics from scratch, and spent years securing California's state government networks. I am not a consultant who draws diagrams — I have configured the firewalls, written the automation scripts, migrated the data centers, and managed the infrastructure in production.
